407 S. Broad St. | Lancaster Township & Lancaster City
This lovely little trail runs along the Conestoga River on the eastern side of Lancaster City. Because it is paved and level, it is perfect for those that may have mobility and balance issues or small children. There are 3 access points with parking lots, one at either end and one near the middle. There are nice retaining walls along the path and the foliage is especially beautiful in the fall.
The portion of the trail near the Duke St. entrance is wooded on either side. After a while, housing projects back up along the trail. With this you do get some noise. The portion of the trail along the opposite ends runs beside Conestoga Dr. So if you have dogs or young children be careful that they don't go into traffic.
